I turned toward photography after a 30 year career as a graphic designer and art director.

My work not only reflects my graphic design background and my life-long minimalist view but it also reveals my love for the Southwest. I live in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

I am not usually drawn to broad panoramas, I’m looking for a more intimate view, my eye seeks out details, graphic patterns. Instead of making portraits I’m more interested in the markings people leave behind; odd structures, old churches, hand made signs, graffiti, treasures arranged on window sills.

I am especially interested in the architecture and lifestyle in Northern New Mexico. I travel backroads documenting a culture which has changed little in 100’s of years.
